Light of God

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26)

Light of GodIn ancient times there was a place known as Golgotha – the place of the skull. It was a gruesome execution ground where untold thousands were crucified by the Romans. This is the last place you would expect to find someone who embodies love and compassion, a person who has the power to heal the sick and restore sight to the blind. As hard as it is to imagine it was in this dark desolateplace of unfathomable suffering that Jesus Christ met his destiny and the eternal
light of God entered into the world.
